That could be the issue. The work permit of the common law partner is valid? The eligibility for a Spouse Open Work Permit (SOWP) depends on the status of the applicant's spouse in Canada.

Yes his work permit is valid too. They gave me a valid date until his work permit is valid. So he has work permit valid until 2025 December too.

Have you tried ordering your GCMS notes to see the details of your case?

I assume you are still with your spouse and living together.

It used to take around 30 days but I'm honestly not sure about current processing times.
