I have received LMIA in March but due to the border restrictions I was told that I can’t go to Canada yet. Is there any way to go to Canada right now? LMIA is for construction company, and yes, they do need me right now.

Have you gotten a work permit yet? You need to get a work permit before you can travel to Canada.

If you haven't done that yet, apply online as soon as you can. Processing times are slow right now.

Thank you for quick response. I was wondering if there in any way to get WP at the airport because where I’m now all VAC’s are closed, so I won’t be able to do biometrics.

Only potentially if entering from the U.S. and after quarantining there for two weeks. What country are you from?

I would be coming from Mexico (almost all flights have connection by Houston but I think that doesn’t matter). There is no problem for me to pass 14 day of quarantine in Canada). (I see now what you meant by quarantine. In US I don’t think I can stay 14 days just for quarantine, or maybe )
