I have my father’s dead certificate do I need their marriage certificate to sponsor my mother?

I am planning to sponsor my mother . She is widowed, and my father died when I was one year old , so in my all official documents I declared my father deceased . now I have my father's death certificate notarized already. Does my mother need to provide a copy of their marriage certificate? Since she lost her marriage certificate.
