I have lost my passport with Canadian visitor visa, how do I cancel my visa.

If I am not mistaken, you will have to report the loss of your passport containing the Canada TRV to the following:
Canadian Police
Indian High Commission: So that they can issue a temporary travel document after they verify facts
CIC: Regarding your Canada TRV
Indian Police (in the city/town where you live in India): Your passport is the property of the Government Of India.
And I think, you need to place an advertisement in a newspaper, too, to report the loss before another full-fledged Indian passport can be issued to you - but that's if you are in India. Not sure how it works in Canada. Best is if you also speak with the Indian High Commission in Canada
Also, do you have any other valid visas in your passport?

Some more information:
First, you MUST report the loss of your Indian passport to the Canadian Police.
On investigations, the Canadian Police will send the report DIRECTLY to the Indian High Commission in Canada. This will take about a week. You will NOT get a copy of this report unless you specifically ask for it.
On getting the report, the Indian High Commission will issue a Temporary Travel Document for you to travel back to India if you are returning to India. If you were a Canadian Permanent Resident (Indian Passport Holder) then the Indian High Commission will issue a passport with MAXIMUM 2 years validity. Not more than that.
In the meantime, you will have to inform CIC too. But unless a new travel document is issued to you by the Indian High Commission, you will not have any Canada visa re-issued to you. You will have to ask CIC for the process and time frames for this, if it is possible to even get a Canada TRV re-issued.

He has to make a normal TRV application and attach the police report where it is specified that the Passport was lost. Also in the letter of explanation the reason (passport lost) should be clearly stated.

Apply for a new passport and if you need a Canadian visit visa you have to re-apply and go through all the visa requirements again. Once your passport with Canadian visa is lost your visit visa is automatically considered cancelled. So when u re-apply do it with all supporting documents, reason to visit etc again

my mom and dad came to Canada last year in june and on my dad's passport super visa was valid till june 2016 and on mom's till 2018. we lost there passport. im so confused what to do? Is CIC gonna give then another super visa?

super visa on my mom dad passports and we lost the passports. can my parents go back to india without super visa on there indian passport?
They will not be allowed to board flights to return to India if they do not have valid passports
You must quickly file a complaint for loss of passports.... you can go through this same thread on how to do it

my parents are on super visa and they both can stay till july 2016 but as now there passports are lost do i need to file new super visa application for them or they can stay on new indian passports till july 2016?
I am currently on a student visa in Germany, and I lost my Iranian passport, which contained a valid Canadian visa label, while I was attending a field trip and workshop in Greece. Is it possibile to transfere the visa to my new passport? I am scheduled to travel to Canada in a month
