Would really appreciate some advice.

I have a Working Holiday Visa which expires in 1 year. I can't extend it as I am over the age of 31.
I will be marrying a Canadian.
I wish to apply for Permanent Residency.
However, we will be moving back and forth from Australia to Canada. Eg. Live in Australia for 2 years then live in Canada for 2 years.
Will that be an issue? Just say for example, if I get my permanent residency then move to Australian a couple of months after, will that be a problem?
I read this on CIC website:
As of October 25, 2012, CIC introduced amendments to the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations. The amendments specify that spouses, common-law or conjugal partners who are in a relationship with their sponsor for two years or less and have no children in common with their sponsor at the time of the sponsorship application are subject to a period of conditional permanent residence. The condition requires the sponsored spouse or partner to cohabit in a conjugal relationship with their sponsor for a period of two years after the day on which they became a permanent resident. The conditional measure only applies to permanent residents whose applications are received on October 25, 2012, or after the day that the amendments come into force.
Does that mean I would have to live in Canada for 2 years after I become a permanent resident? Or just live together in general?

Also is it best if I apply for permanent resident or get sponsored by my spouse?

Thanks in advance!

You are not required to cohabit in Canada. It can be anywhere in the world.

Being sponsored by your spouse IS applying for PR.

Thank you,

Would you happen to know, if I send in my application and since it takes a while, will it be an issue if we move to Australian before it gets approved?

In order to be approved, you guys must show that you intend to live in Canada. If you move to Australia and CIC asks for proof that you are returning to reside in Canada and you have nothing to show, the app will be refused.
