Masters has no bearing to qualify for the CEC. It might be able to convince the VO of your capability to adapt and settle in Canada. The primary requirement for CEC is at least 1 year of work experience in a qualified NOC code.

CEC is Canadian Experience Class so you need to have the Canadian Experience on NOC O, A or B for at least 1-YEar to qualify. Here is the link to CEC requirements: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/cec/apply-how.asp

^Quote of the day.

I've seen a couple of people in this forum with postdoctoral qualifications, it doesn't make them any special. No self-entitlement allowed here.

What the censored word did I just watch

edit: sigh, the post was deleted

While I don't see a strong sense of entitlement in the question, I would question worth of a masters degree if it doesn't equip one with the ability to understand the most basic requirements to qualify for a program. The fact that it's a degree in engineering makes it worse.

^Just the same, let's help the person:

To the original poster:

- What job(s) do (did) you have that you think will qualify you for the CEC? Can you provide the basic descriptions and lengths for each?

- Were these acquired while you were studying or after? If the former, were you enrolled full-time?

- Have you done any of the Language Skills Test and when?

This way, we can help you with better pieces of advice.
