I am looking for someone with experience with become a resident of Quebec. I know it is hard to get but I have a few questions on the process of getting in. Thank you.

-How long does the process usually take?
-What is the simplest way to become a resident of Quebec?
-Is it really as scary as people make it seem?

I am thinking of applying. I have a boyfriend who lives in Montreal but otherwise no family. I am not sure because I could go as student if I want to because I have been looking into Universities there. I have done some research, but they don't really tell you much about the process they just tell you how to get start and what you will need.
