Hello!

Hope you will be glad to help me with this question. Months ago, before pandemic crisis I had bought flight tickets to Canada for 7 days trip. Airline company did not contact me during this time and I wonder whether it would be possible for me to arrive there and travel a bit in the middle of June?

Will there be any problems with visa? Theу didn't inform me about anything as well, so I try to find the solution.

Canada's borders are currrently closed to all but select travelers and essential travel. You should assume you will not be able to come here.

Do you have any immediate family members who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents in Canada? Is your purpose for coming here tourism?

Note that Canada has a mandatory 14 day quarantine in place for everyone arriving. Once you arrive, you would have to immediately travel to the place where you will be staying and then remain at that place for 14 days without leaving. It will not be possible to go anywhere or travel around Canada during those 14 days.

BTW - it's not up to the airline to notify you if you can travel or not. That is up to you to determine.

Not sure if it is really the best time to travel. Expect that a quarantine is likely going to be required. Would be crazy to pay money to remain in a hotel room. Many tourists spots may be closed. You likely won’t be able to get travel health insurance that covers covid. A stay in the ICU would be hundreds of thousands of dollars. Would really rethink your travel plans. You also may not be able to enter the country so that would be the biggest issue. I would be looking into whether I can get a refund for my flights versus booking anything else. Don’t book anything that isn’t fully refundable for sure.
