I had a serious problem of my visa application. Pls help.

First I tried to apply a visa with my valid study permit;unfortunately, I choose the Visitor Extension service which could take me about 150 days.(I applied at Nov. 2nd)
Then I re-uploaded my documents and chose another service (the Visitor Visa service) at Dec. 14th.
Just a few days ago, I got my visa on my passport successfully.
The problem is that I have both valid visa on my passport and valid study permit(This means I am OK right now), but my first Visitor Extension application is still within processing.
I want to ask:
How can I deal with my first application?
Can I cancel it or just let it there?
If i can cancel it, how to do it?
If I cannot cancel it, once CIC ask for my passport, how can I do?

you can call CIC to cancel it.

explain the situation and give your UCI no. then they would cancel it.
