I gotta contact Immigration office

So I have sent my outland application to Mississauga, Ontario office on Sept 9th - Since then I haven't heard one word from them. I was expecting an email or letter last week because usually they reply in 4-5 weeks. I figured that out by reading a lot people's post here.


I guess I gotta call them and ask about it. Does anyone have any idea how should I correspond with them and which number to call? Or any tips you guys have for me.

You're worrying needlessly. In many cases people don't hear from CIC until the sponsor has been approved. Right now they are working on applications received in mid-August. So you still have 3-4 weeks to wait before you hear anything.

It's too early to start inquiring about your application, when you look at the processing times:

It clearly says that the sponsor assessment takes about 60 days to complete, you're not close to that yet.

Our application was received August 20th, and we still have never received anything from CIC.
Thankfully I can log into ecas as of a few days ago.

How can you? How can I login to ECAS ?

If you used your existing UCI / client ID in your sponsorship application, you can use the same to login to Ecas. If it don't see anything once you login or if you can't login at all, probably they haven't yet linked your application to your UCI yet i.e. processing has not started yet.

I have my husband UIC when he lived here before - can I try to long in with that even if I don't have a application file number - where do I find this info to log in with a UIC number ???
