I got my Study Permit and my medical examination is expiring. Is this applicable to me??

I am an International student, living in UAE. I got my Visa on November 2020. I travelled to Canada on January 2021, where I got my study permit and my SIN number. And I travelled back to UAE on April 2021. Now I received an email from IRCC saying that my immigration medical examination is going to expire on 31st August 2021. Does this mean I have to give the medical exam again as I am planning to go back to Canada on September 2021?? Please advise. Your corporation in this regard will be highly appreciated.

If you were living in the UAE at the time of application, why did you need a medical exam? I thought residents of UAE are exempt?
