Dear friends in same boat and some in the next boat 

My story is like this. And I hope, someone out there can guide me or give me best option.

I am a Bachelors (3years) Masters(1year) in Computers and have 6 years experience in computer/telecom/cellular networks. I am in the UK and will get UK nationality in 2 years’ time.

But my family (parents and younger brothers) have recently moved to Alberta,Canada from Pakistan,. Initially I was also in the same application as dependent but since I moved to UK and got married, my application was revoked as I was no longer dependent.

I want to join my family in Canada somehow, I don’t qualify in Federal and Quebec ( according to my calculations) And also family sponsorship doesn’t apply on me.

The only option (That I see ) is the education path. First do a Masters from Canada and find work and apply for CEC or PNP or Quebec.

Can some one guide me please? Which route should I go for and which province. CEC or Quebec. I think in the CEC it will take 2 + 1 years. I am not sure about Quebec. My friend told me that If I can do a degree from Quebec 1 year program, then can apply for Quebec select candidate. They need a French course which I am was told is easy.

So what exactly you hoping us to help with?

If you are not eligible for FSW, and need help for PNP or student visa, I suggest you to follow the relevent threads at this forum. that can help you more far then we FSW members,

God Bless,
Kavya

Thank you,
Actually the issue is, I dont know which path is better, more promising and fast
1) CEC: Needs 2 years degree and 1 year of work and after that one is eligible for PR
2) Quebec selected recent grad: Need only 1 year degree and a French course and one can apply for CSQ and PR.

This is what I am looking for which is better and promising.

take care

Well, the thing is I can give u a brief for both

see, for study visa there are lot of possibilities in bot the way; negative and positive: Its upto you weather or not you aready to take it as a challenge. at the same time still you may or may not hopd PR at the end of study visa, as well, you will need to secure a job before you apply for PR, something like that, I am not sure what it takes. However, its not as safe as it can to get PR with other routes..

I mean If you can grab an offer letter from Canada that could the best one amongst all.

See, to the other sides as well which I havent highlighted here, may be to get some expert advice as well.

God Bless,
Kavya

Kavaya,

Thanks for the info, but I think its almost impossible to get a job offier from Canada. They need to be varified from HRDC, which I have heard is next to impossible.

I am hoping some one here who would have taken the Quebec selected graduate path to share their experience. Or is there any other place on the forum for those?

Coz I feel that to be most attractive.

If you see, they are making it more and more difficult, almost impossible now days.

Cheers
