i am PR and get married outland with an outland marriage certificate, can I return to Canada and sponsor my spouse immediately?

i am PR,
i got married with my spouse outland almost immediately after when know each other outland,
we got an outland marriage certificate,
and we are true marriage.

in this case, is there any cohabitation requirement? can i get back to canada and submit my sponsorship application immediately after we got the marriage certificate outland?
(in my case you see, i and my spouse will have limited time together.)
