Hi everyone.. I am an international student in the USA and want to live in Canada. Can you give me some information about to be citizen in Canada. And also I want to live in Saskatchewan. Thank you. :)

You have to become a permanent resident first and then live in Canada for several years to qualify for citizenship.

To find out how you can apply to become a permanent resident, start reading here and good luck:

So hang on let me understand this, you are a student in US and want to become a Canadian citizen, unfortunately the Canadian citizenship is not sitting on a grocery shelf for you to grab. Here is what you have to do

You have to finish your studies first in US or Canada (4 years for a Bachelors)
Apply for work permit (1 year), assuming you dont have previous work experience related to your course of study
Apply for PR (wait 3 years for processing)
Once you are a PR of Canada, live here physically for (3 years)
Apply for citizenship (1 year)

Total Number of years is 12 so unless you are willing to sacrifice this time for Canadian citizenship your efforts are futile my child

Or, you could take a 2 year course in Canada, get a skilled job for 1 year and then apply for PR under Canadian Experience Class, processing time 11 months. Since you have lived in Canada on a temp visa for more than 2 years before getting PR, you would only have to live in Canada as a PR for 2 years before applying for citizenship, processing again, 1 year so total 7 years.
