Well you can of course start by researching here https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada.html

You will need to plan to go through IELTS English proficiency to get a good score that will improve your chances. You can do a quick check of your immigration score with some assumptions here , age will come into the equation by the way http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp

You might also want to see if your job has any national occupation classification code based on your job title and duties here where you need to be in a job classified a 0,A or B . Just saying you design for a newspaper probably does not mean much to anybody here.

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...ligibility/find-national-occupation-code.html

Once you have done the research through above then come back here with your potential CRS score and NOC code to get some more feedback.
