Hypothetical question. If after receiving PR cards ( that is landing in Canada) and becoming a permanent resident, I have a child; what will happen if the child is born in a: Canada
or b: another country.

In Canada the child will be Canadian citizen. Outside Canada you can apply for Canada PR.

Would the application for PR fir the child take the same length of time as in other pr applications.

If the child is taken to Canada after birth on a visitor visa, can the PR visa be filed for in Canada? All hypothetical. I am trying to make plans.

Yes you can Apply for PR from canada. Processing time must be same.
