Has anyone applied under Humanitarian? Who is eligible to apply?
I am the only child of my parents. Can I apply for my parents to bring them to Canada? They are both old and really need my attention and care. Please, let me know if you have any information that is helpful.

You can't submit a Humanitarian application for them while they are outside of Canada.
They would need to travel to Canada first on a TRV and then submit the Humanitarian application after they have arrived in Canada.
Would suggest speaking to a lawyer about their chances of getting H&C. Being an only child does not guarantee that they will be accepted under H&C and if they are denied they will likely have trouble travelling to Canada in the future. Are you aware that there is a PGP program or supervisas which are the pathways for parents to stay in Canada for longer periods of time? You will need to show that your parents are in a position that warrants special consideration versus other parents who are often in a similar position and are applying for a chance at PGP or supervisas.
