HRSDC confirmation for employer change

Hello,

Could anybody help with my situation? I have a work permit till June 6, 2012 for one employer, but i want to change to a different employer now. i don't understand from the guide if I need to have HRSDC confirmation in my case.....or it is only if I want to extend my permit???
I don't need to extend permit, but if my new employer needs to do the HRSDC...my permit probably will expire till the time he gets it!!!!

Your new employer must apply for a new LMO. Once the new LMO is approved, you must then apply for a new work permit that will be tied to your new employer.
