Hi everyone!

I would like to ask others who have also done some research to help me with some information regarding immigration options to Canada.

I have a degree in Human Resource Management and an Honours in Business Management HR Stream.
I have two years experience in HR Management, Two years in Restaurant Management and 5 years administrative clerk experience. I am single with no dependents. I am 33 and South African.

What are my options? I get a bit confused with the provincial nominations, experience class and express entry.

I hope someone can assist.

Hi everyone!

I would like to ask others who have also done some research to help me with some information regarding immigration options to Canada.

Express Entry is a ranking system that handles (some) provincial nominations and the Canadian Experience Class, and Foreign Skilled Worker streams.

Your most immediate option is as a Foreign Skilled Worker, through which you must apply through Express Entry.

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...iteria-comprehensive-ranking-system/grid.html

The last score that got invitations to apply for PR was 452 CRS points.

Here are the eligibility requirements for Foreign Skilled Worker:

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...election-factors-federal-skilled-workers.html

So you must meet the eligibility for FSW AND get a high enough CRS score to be invited to apply for PR.

To create an Express Entry profile, you MUST have valid ECA results and valid English language scores available, as well as a minimum amount of liquid funds for FSW. Read the link directly above for more details.

If your CRS scores aren't enough (your age works against you), that's when you can start looking for provincial nominations (PNP) to get 600 more points through Express Entry.

Express Entry/FSW is currently "career-agnostic", but certain PNPs may favor certain careers at a given time.
