Write to them and request them, tell them you would send notarized copy of those documents.

Dear

At first you have made a mistake. the immigration Canada has repeatedly mentioned that you must not send the original copy of the documents unless it is mentioned (like Police certificate).

Normally they send back all the educational certificates after your Medical along with the passport request. here is what you can do --

1) Make sure if your file has transferred to the local visa office. if "yes", go to step 2; if "no" then go to step 3.

2) if you have the photo copies of the documents, please notarize those, send them to the local visa office along with a letter requesting the Visa Officer that you need all the originals back and you have sent the Notarized copy of all the documents you have sent to NS.

3) your file has not transferred to your local visa office, please communicate with the people from NS, send them e-mail, fax and letter, mentioning your current situation and the urgency of the documents.

Regards

Send then request letter asking to send your original documents back. That if you want to retreat your application.
