Is it true that some applicants have sent their documents including passports to the visa office and have been waiting for over 8 months for a response? No communication no nothing? What could be wrong to take the Visa office to decide on such cases? I mean keepng an applicant waiting for such a long time after having asked for all the documents including RPRF and passport does not really add up.

How would you advise an applicant who has been waiting for such a long time (8 months) for a response to do? In my case,It's going to 4 months now since I sent my passport/RPRF..really what's going on?

I would recommend you and people facing the similar situation to order CAIPS report for your case and see what's going on. When did you send your passport? Under what NOC you are applying?

8 month, really very frustating...... but i don't think that, they are kepping PP for such a long time, at most 3-4 months (which i also very rearer, most of the folk get a response within 1-2 month)
