Hey

You wont know completely that your medical are okay. But you can ask your DMP if your medicals were fine, they are not allowed to give you the details of your results but can give you an overview of the results.

Also if your ECAS changes to Medical line received its generally a sign that ur meds were all cleared. Just be patient and hope for the best.

jhaybeeh27,
Alternatively if ur medicals were not ok you would have got requests for additional tests.

as vidya said. if your Medical result had something wrong, your DMP would call you next morning for a re-test. your medical was fine. No worries.

Who says DMP's are not allowed to give you the details of the results? We are talking about your personal medical data. I am pretty certain it's illegal for them to withhold from you any of the details of the examination if you specifically ask for it. If there is anything seriously wrong I think they are obliged to actually inform you anyway.

But please remember the DMP will not make any decision as to your medical admissibility to Canada. This will be done by the medical services division of the visa office. The DMP simply reports their findings to the visa office.

If the DMP had found anything serious enough to affect the application they would have told you during examination. Of course there's the xrays and blood tests, but once I think they have to inform you straight away if anything serious is found with these as well.

With medicals, no news is good news tbh, so if you've heard nothing, I wouldn't worry!:)

The DMP will advise you if ur medical result is not ok, and inform u of its details if u ask further... but he won't tell you if it is ok, instead send the result to the cic right away. Aren't you glad you were not informed of any undesirable medical conditions, nor subjected to further tests?

Be at peace, your PPR is coming. :D

Good luck.

Medical guidelines are as follows.

Initial doctor who does the investigation finds any abnormalities will immediately go for additional test before sending the medicals to the immigration departments health unit.

If the officer later on finds any problem you will get a letter for additional tests.

So I think in your case nothing to worry

That means before the reports are sent the doctor will inform if retests are required or we will know only from our visa office because it is a month now that we have done our medicals and they reached otawa around end of february
