Friends,
This question might have been already discussed in this forum but couldn't locate the thread. Apologies.
I completed my landing 10 days ago and waiting for my PR card. The current wait time for PR Card is ~70 days. However, I have to travel back home due to some family emergency. I have two options now.
1. To send CIC an email explaining the urgency of my travel and provide necessary proof of my travel. (tickets & payment receipt of the tickets).
2. or Go home country and apply for a travel document to come back to Canada.
Could you please advise which option would be a better option? How long will a consulate takes to issue a travel document if I am going back to my home country and applying for it?
Appreciate your thoughts.
Thank you,
