Hi Folks,

I have Canadian part-time experience of two different NOC codes 6211 and 2282 which falls under B category and in total around 800 hours. I am working full-time for the last 4 months which falls under the B category (NOC 2283). How possibly I can combine all 3 jobs part-time and full-time to 1 year to apply for PR?
Secondly, I have full-time foreign experience of 1 year which falls under NOC 2173 category A. Since all Canadian experience I have is in category B and foreign experience in category A, is it valid to apply or foreign experience should also need to be the same category as Canadian experience?

Any inputs highly appreciated.
Thank you.

You need to be more specific.

Easy, the answer is you just add the hours you've worked, taking in account that for each week you cannot count more than 30 hours, overall, either coming from 1 or more jobs if they occurred simultaneously.

So, your 800 h + whatever other hours, you may not be able to count all of them, its hard to know without more information.

Thank you for the quick response. It's my mistake I forgot to mention that 800 hrs is considered as you mentioned each week no more than 30 hrs or simultaneously from 2 jobs. I am confused that is it possible to add part-time experience with full-time & if so, how should I sum up 800hrsof 2 part-time job with 4-month full-time job?

Still yes, but it depends, if the 8 part time months don't add to more than 30 hours per week, sure you can count all 800h. However, for each week that hours go beyond 30h, even if for each job they are below 30h/w, those extra hours are not counted.
This is when knowing if the 2 part time jobs overlap in time or if they occurred one following the other.

Just add all the hours you've worked, in either job (as long as it's considered an eligible NOC), up until 30h each week.

When they all add to at least 1560 h, you'll then be eligible for CEC.

Thank you much clear now.
