how to sponsor a spouse after getting PR

Hello all,
I am planning to apply for Canadian PR under Federal Skilled Worker category.
Currently I am not married but I might be getting married some time in the
next year or so. If I get my PR and subsequently get married then is there
any way my wife can join me in Canada? What is the process and how long
does it usually take? Will she be allowed to work in Canada OR does she need
to apply for her own PR to be allowed to work?

It would be simpler to marry before you apply and apply together and you would both get PR at the same time.

If you marry during your PR processing or any time between the time you applied as a single man and the time you land as a PR, you must notify immigration that you got married and ask to have your wife added to the application. This applies even if you had already gotten your PR visa just before marrying. If you then marry before landing, your visa becomes invalid and you must return it to the embassy and ask to add your wife and get new visas for you both.

If you marry after you have landed as a PR, so first land as a PR, then get married, then return to Canada and sponsor your wife, then you should look for information in the family class section of this forum. It can take 6-18 months to sponsor a spouse depending on your embassy.

i need some guide lines from u, i was on twp in bc from last 2 years in betwen i applied for pnp ,but my wp exired on 25 dec. 10 and on 16 dec i applied to renew it without lmo and even my pnp also be rejected after pnp rejection and before 90 days i applied new work permit and restoration with another employer with lmo into vegreville AB now after waiting 135 days i recevied a letter from Vegreville AB that they transfer my file to local cic vancover now i m worried abt it what happen next what will be the decesion , plz help


second :-can i apply a visitor visa for another country while my application is in process?
