How to send emails to show proof of relationship

Hi,

I received a request to show additional information that supports proof of my relationship. I am looking to send emails from my gmail account.
Does anyone know if it is sufficient to send printscreens of the emails - I ask this, as the emails could easily be altered. Do I have to download each email which gives the ip address and all header information?
