How to send additional docs (applied online)

My nephew has applied to come to Canada for about 1 week. I am sponsoring him.
He applied online from the US. At the time of applying he didn't have a return ticket, which he has now.
How can he submit the ticket as an additional document before a decision is made on his file?
Showing a ticket will likely improve his chances of getting the visa. He needs to send the additional document
to the NY office.

Has anyone voluntarily submitted additional docs after applying online? How/where to submit it?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

For TRV's, once you send your application online, you can't send additional docs unless it is explicitly requested by the visa officer.

you can try this.

go to CIC website, find "Find a CIC office", then " International Visa Offices", then click the Visa office you are applying from, then "Enquiries", then "Case specific" and proceed from there.
