How to restore work permit

Anyone has the experience to restore the work permit and how long will it take to do.
Is there any special requirement for restore work permit, such as do I have to have a job offer right now?
How long will it take to process it?
How long usually will they give the permit to stay/work in canada if passport is available?

You would need a job offer and approved LMIA to restore your work permit. Do you have those two things?

If not, then you should apply to restore your status and change your status to visitor.

thank you for your answer, my work permit expired, and I stopped my work. No job offer.
When I submit my application, do I have to indicate what type of visa I want to apply or they will decide according to my submitted documents and statutes.
