I was a permanent resident of Canada under skilled immigration category. In 2010, I left the country and due to not meeting the residency requirement my PR status is no longer valid. My question is if I want to get it back do I need to apply fresh (new application), mentioning that I was a PR before as it is normally asked while feeling the immigration form. Can I do it under skilled worker category now or CIC is still not accepting immigration applications in that category?
