How to prove relationship to grandfather?

Hi!

For my studies in Canada, my grandfather will be supporting me. Is it possible for me to use my parents marriage certificate (which includes my grandparents names) in addition to my birth certificate, and a signed letter from my grandfather with his name on it, to prove my relation to him?
