Hi friends,

I am in Germany and wanted to apply as a skilled worker to Canada. But, I couldn't pay to the address stated in the application guideline (Receiver general for canada). There is no bank account and name of a person mentioned. My bank from Germany told me that they need a bank account and name of a person to transfer money by cheque or money order.

The other option mentioned in the guideline is a credit card, but the payment form requires all the secuirity information of the credit card including the expiry date and the verification code at the back of the card. I am not sure about the secuirity of the credit card money transfer, as the credit card information is to be sent by post together with other application documents. Online payment is prevented.

Could any one help me please?

Thanks!

No need bank account number or ........ . Your financial institute made a mistake.
You should go to your bank and ask them a draft or money order in Canadian dollars. The payee is "Receiver General for Canada"

Good luck

Solomonjohn, I think your VO is Vienna (for Germany)-the same as mine. Check this link...u dont need an account number-u just need the right bank.

Wrong info by Bank. No need of Bank account. Instead u can get the DD from any money changer / exchange for the same.

You did not check the instructions carefully. They ask for demand draft or bank draft and you are not paying by online transfer or personal cheque. Ask your bank to make a demand draft in Canadian dollars that you need to send it to Canada with your application.

Thanks
