hey everyone,
here's my situation and the reason why i want to order notes:
we sent off our outland-common-law-sponsorship in september, 2014...it was received shortly after...
october 14, 2014 i received an email requesting the translation of my german police certificate which i had failed to attach...i got on it right away so i'm sure they had received the translation by the end of october...which would have made our application package complete...i understand that the timelines provided on the cic website refer to a complete package...
november 28, 2014 i had sent a new letter of employment of my partner to canada immigration (to update the information we had given)...my partner had changed jobs after sending off the application and we waited until after the probation was over to send the new letter of employment...
after i still hadn't heard anything by the middle of december i sent an email asking for an update on our application status...
i received an email on december 17, 2014 stating our application was in process and "they thank me for my patience and for keeping correspondence to a minimum"...
after that email i thought...alright...i should hear from them some time soon...NO!
we still haven't heard a word on sponsorship approval or anything for that matter...i sent another email on february 28, 2015 apologizing for inconvenience but hoping to get some information on our application status...no response...Sad
our application is pretty straight forward...i don't understand why we still haven't gotten any sign or update...
also...how could we get information on our application? this starts to get really nerve wrecking...considering its "only" first stage and we still have to go through vienna after which timelines are more than frightening...
NOW MY QUESTIONS REGARDING ORDERING NOTES:
I'm the applicant...my partner is my sponsor:
1. IMM5563E:
Since our application appears to be still at stage 1 (waiting for sponsor-approval)...what do i tick off under section A question 4? NO? I understand it's MY application to become PR but it's OUR sponsorship application and in first stage its all about my partner right?
i understand from reading on it that a person who holds canadian residence/PR status has to request these informations...so i'd get my partner (sponsor) to do it...
2. IMM5563E:
And my partner would be the requester right?
3. IMM5563E:
Under section C...will i (applicant) have to fill in my name in there?
3. I understand that i then have to fill out the form IMM5475E and give the authority to release information to my partner...correct?
How long does it take approximately to receive these informations?
