Hello,

could somebody help me with some instructions on how to make the payment of fee?? I will pay whether by bank draft or money order, but as I talked to a friend of mine who works in a bank, I was told that I must have the bank (account) details of the money receiver (!). As far as I know, there aren't such details in any of the forms in CIC website. What's the way of paying the fee by bank draft or money order?

Thank you,
albabeu

The most easy way to pay the processing fee via credit card.....yes can also pay via bank draft or money order...you also must have a bank account for this.

Ok, but I must have the bank account details of the receiver that I will address the payment, right?

Yes, go to the CIC website. Download fee payment form and you will find who to address.
Get pleasure to reply.

I have already done so, but the fee payment form does not include such details like:
Bank account of the receiver
Swift Code of the bank
Name of Bank where I must send the payment
The name of the receiver

These are the details that I was told that I need when making the payment. In the form it's shown only that the payment should be payable to "Receiver General".

Please help.

Hi,

First of all decide how you want to pay.

Via Credit Card or Bank Draft.

If you want to pay using ur credit card, fill the payment form accordingly, with ur credit card's details. CIO will use the information their self.

If you want to pay through Bank Draft, you will have to get a BD of 550 Canadia $ issued in the name of
RECEIVER GENERAL FOR CANADA. Fill your payment form & attach the BD with ur payment form.

CIO will encash it in a couple of weeks after receiving your application.

If you still have confusion please tell, or simply meet the representative of any Canadian Bank's branch in your area.

Regards,
Nashe

Thank you for the answer Nashe. Since we are two of us going to apply (me and my husband) do we have to take only a BD of 1100 Canadia $ or we should get 2 BD of 550 CAD each?

Thank you again,

No matter how much the dependents are, one BD will do!

But you will have to mention the details of dependents in the payment form.
