How to know your NOC Code

Hello Experts - I was in canada in 2010 then again in 2011 and travelled again in 2012...... I am having three diffrent workpermit issued each year.....
Questions

- How I would know my NOC code ? Its nowhere mentioned on the work Permit.

- Also while filing the application How would I know what roles and responsibility for that NOC code ? I can ask my manager to put the same... But I want to make sure I am putting correct roles and responsibility......

Rohan,
Of course its mentioned on your work permit against 'Occupation'. You must specify the NOC Codes in IMM 0008 - Schedule 8 form and the duration based on the your work permit.

Refer above link, download the PDF version which will give you the responsibilities and draft your reference letter accordingly.

Call CIC Call Centre telephone number: 1-888-242‑2100 to know NOC code for corresponding WP.

There is no need. You will find it on your WP.

Type the position name which can be found on your WP at the top left into google along with NOC and Canada and it will pop up!

Hello - I called to the help line and they told me this.

Your 2011 Work Permit is - "Embedded sys S/W engineer" which comes under 9999.2 ( I don't know what NOC code to be used for this )
Your 2012 Work Permit is under - 2174

Now I am not sure what should I put in my application for 2011.......... From the HRSDC list the same discription is under 2173.....but my 2012 workpermit says its 2174...
I might need to put to seperate NOC , IS that OK ?

Or Even for 2011 I Can put 2174 ?
