Do you mean through skilled work? I believe you answer the questions and it gives you a score.

I want to live there permanently. What visa do I need for that?

There are different methods and without knowing more info I am not sure which but if you answer the questions on the link I sent you should be able to find out your options.

Permanent options include:

Family sponsorship
Provincial nominees
express entry

Your posts indicate you're trying to sponsor your husband, and you yourself, are Canadian. Are you the husband? Why don't you just wait for the spouse sponsorship to go through?

This information is not for myself or my husband. I was trying to find out for one of my relative.

Your last post says "I want to live there permanently. What visa do I need for that?". Not "my relative wants to live here permanently, what visa does he need for that?"

If it's for a relative, either he marries a Canadian, or applies as a skilled profession.

Sorry, I just pointed as me. I heard people comes to Canada with points. What is skilled profession?

You're posting in the wrong section. If you have further questions - please move to the Express Entry section of this forum.

The point system has been revamped. The immigration points are now based on job demand, not on points based on education / language / etc alone. In other words, if there are no job demand for your position, regardless of how many points you made, immigration is very hard.
