Hi All,

Could anybody please assist, how can I handle this:

Situation is, my brother is in Canada (he went through marriage), now I want to move to Canada for which I will get 5 points as my brother is in Canada as PR.

Problem is: Spellings of our father's name is different (in his and my certificates).
In my all certificates father's names is like "xxxxxdeep" and in my borther's certificates this is spelled as "xxxxxdip" i.e. difference is of "ee" and "i"

How can I handle this, what proof I can give or any other thing which can really work out...

Thanks for your time.

Not a problem. Just tell ur brother to make an AFFIDAVIT in Canada that he is your brother and the father name is mis spelt. Additionally keep PASSPORT COPY OR ANY DOC of both of you showing same address. It will work out fine.

Shibuya made it clear.

Name difference; make an affidavit. Additionally if you want to you can submit 2-3 old photos of family with clear picture includes while submitting full documents. Both brother will have same addresses on passport and also you can provide copy of your father's ID which is having same address as well, like Voter ID doc or tax card ID something like that.

( that's what I will do if I am in your place )
