I was born in Michigan in 1959 shortly after my parents came to the US from Ontario. My mom told me she did not become a US citizen until after I was born so I should have dual citizenship. I've been trying to copies of her naturalization papers, but have been sent in circles for weeks so that doesn't look like it's going to happen. How best to get proof of my Canadian citizenship? She was born in Manitoba in the 1920s, went to England and then went back to Canada in 1948. Dad was born in England in the 1920s and became a Canadian citizen sometime after 1948.
