Hello everyone,

I am currently 27, i come from HongKong and i had graduated with an associate degree in marketing which is useless. I work as a clerk right now. This year, I experienced a refusal from Australia for student visa....

I now wish to apply for a college in Manitoba (automotive technician), and I,obviously, wish to stay permanently when there is a chance.

I have consulted some agents and they told me its very hard to get a study permit with a background like me.

Here's are my questions:
1. Is there any chance for me to get a study permit (coz my immigration motive is quite obvious).

2. is it better if i go working holiday to Canada first?

Thank you for your time!

Others can comment but your first challenge will be showing any logical connection between a marketing degree and an automotive technician course. To qualify for a permit any course needs to be a relevant logical progression.

If you qualify for a WHV then that may be a better option unless you identify a course that maps to your current qualifications,

My goal is to immigrate through MPNP ,i have considered apply for a degree program but the expense is too high therefore apply for college is fit for my budget but the first stage is to get a study permit.. i can come up some logical connection but it is so subjective........
