Hello!!!! I'm wondering if someone can provide me with any direction in which where to go for information, i'm at a loss, google is not my friend and i'm not finding what I need to find.
My boyfriend currently lives in Staten Island NY, We have plans to live/settle together here in Kingston Ontario, but as immigration is tough and we are worried it might not be possible, we are seeking out other options - at the moment, we are looking to go back to college, he would like to study abroad here in kingston and I too would be returning to take a course and begin a career with it.

Financial aid seems to be difficult to find in any form - this specific college doesn't seem to have any 'loan companies' that we can find online, most refer us to Montreal or Quebec (which is 3-4 hours from where I live, and simply living as well as studying wouldn't be in any kind of budget, meanwhile here we'd have a home and transportation we could rely on.

Does anyone know anything about where to find Loans for those seeking to study internationally? He is in New York as mentioned, and hoping to find a place there that he is able to apply to in order to meet the tuition cost of studying here in Canada with me. There HAS to be something available and I am simply unable to find it, Any help is greatly appreciated, if more information is required please let me know i'll do my best to answer any questions.

It sounds like you have been looking at banks/lenders in Canada. Without collateral in Canada (e.g. house), or without a co-signer with collateral in Canada - he's not going to get anywhere.

International students typically secure funding from their home countries for their studies in Canada. Has your boyfriend spoken with his bank in the US and explored his options with them? Have you tried research US-based funding for US students studying abroad?

I performed a quick google search ("funding us students studying abroad") and got the below link as my first hit:

http://www.nafsa.org/Explore_International_Education/For_Students/U_S__Study_Abroad_Scholarships_and_Grants_List/

It looked like there were plenty more relevant web sites in the results.

Oh no, I'm sorry XD I might not have made myself clear - i've got a foggy head and i'm unbelievably confused/frustrated, we have been looking at US Companies for studying abroad, but they need to be affiliated with a canadian school in order to have the financial aid go through. The specific school in my personal home city isn't connected to any of these, and we were trying to find companies that did student loans (US Based companies) that are NOT in cahoots with schools and provide assistance as more of a ummm private lender? I guess? That's what i saw a lot of places mentioning that may be necessary. Basically ones that provide loans regardless of the schools you seek to attend in canada. Will check out that link you pasted! Thank you!
