LANDED..........
30-05-2016
Taking five large boxes to post office today to mail to Canada.
Driving to border at Coutts and will get there in about a week.
How do I complete the B4 form for what I am mailing, or should I even do it? It asks for address of shipper, is that my US address or Canada address? It asks if it's goods to follow. The boxes will arrive in Canada a few days after I do.
Thanks for your suggestions.

anything that arrives in canada AFTER you land is considered a GOOD TO FOLLOW. This means, you need 2 separate B4 forms. 1 for the items you are bringing with you at landing, and 1 checked as goods to follow for the items that will arrive after you land. You will want to present both at landing so they can be stamped. if you are only bringing "goods to follow", then you only need 1 form checked as goods to follow.

If you are shipping items, the shipping company may require you to show proof of the goods to follow form. i believe if you don't present this to the shipping company they will try to charge you duty on the items. I am not familiar with the shipping process, so my information may not be 100%. the B4 goods to follow is to prevent duty being applied to items you plan to bring after landing.

As for the shipper, i don't think it matters which address you put on the form.
