If you request a physical copy of the file, yes, it can delay your process. If you request an electronic copy of the file it is processed by the ATIP team in Ottawa and it doesn't impact the visa office's processing at all. Generally, the only time to request physical file is if there is already a date certain (e.g., an interview) or after you have a decision.

Do you know if CIC call center agents can see the data that I see in GCMS?
I thought that its the same data, but CIC claim that both medical results were received in December and CIO probably has a mistake in data analysis.
