How to extend work permit previously issued to passport expiry date

Hi all. I have been issued 2 years of post graduate work permit after my completion of education in Canada which was my passport expiry date at that time. Actually i was supposed to get 3 years of post graduate work permit. They have mentioned on my work permit that i can extend my work permit on my passport renewal which i have done now. So i want to extend my work permit, can anyone please help me how do i do it and what documentation i need?

NOTE:

In addition, I have already applied for my PR and it is in process. CIC website only shows information about bridging of work permit (which is after the complete expiration of work permit) but i basically want extension of work permit to get remaining 1 year of work permit.
