I came to Canada as student in 2021 and temporarily imported my vehicle to Canada at border for registering BC license. At that time, I searched online and CBP website said there is no need to export vehicle temporarily. I cannot remember if the border or insurance agent took my title but I do not have my US title in hand now.
Now, I was just approved for PR so I need to permanently import my vehicle. I know it can be done directly in Canada, but I am not sure how I could export my vehicle from US permanently while I do not have my US title and registration. I doubt if I do not export it from US properly, I might not be able to sell my vehicle in Canada in the future?
