Hi
Three months ago, my employer obtained a positive LMIA to support my application for an employer-specific (closed) work permit. I submitted my work permit application before the LMIA expired. The LMIA expired on November 30.
When I created my Express Entry profile, in the “Intended work in Canada” section, I indicated that I had a positive LMIA.
In January, I received an (ITA) under the Canadian Experience Class (CEC). When I reviewed my ITA application, I noticed that the LMIA information from my Express Entry profile carried over. As a result, the document checklist is now requesting documents such as a job offer letter and proof of funds.
Since I was invited under CEC (not FSW ), and my LMIA has already expired (though it was used to apply for a closed work permit), should I still answer the LMIA-related questions and upload the requested job offer documents, or should I remove the LMIA information from my ITA application?
I would appreciate your guidance on how to proceed correctly.
Thanks
