Hi,

I'm now preparing the documents for PR family class. Just wonder how to describe the photos. I know that I'm supposed to write the location, date and who's in the photos but I'm not sure about how to write it.

For example, if it's a photo of two of us. Can I just write that this is a photo we took at.... Or do I need to make it more formal like this is a photo of sponsor and applicant at...

Thanks,

Either one is OK. The important thing is that the visa officer can easily figure out who is in the photo and what the photo is: wedding photo, photo with relatives, informal pic at a scenic spot during your honeymoon, the two of you visiting your in-laws' hometown, etc.

depends which category that photo belongs to. for example if its wedding photo, wedding ceremony, proof of ur relationship, ur travels together, u and his/her relatives and friends etc. for example if its traveling pic of both of u - just write date, whos in the pic, and where did u go. if its wedding, just write 'our wedding', date, and whos in the pic.

The back should be fine... We had all of our photos digitally, so we pasted the photos 2 per page into a word document then typed underneath as follows:

Location, event, aproximate date, names of people in photo and relation (if it was not us).

eg: Cawsand, England - Family Easter Dinner, April 2009, Jennifer and Will, Rebecca (Will's Sister)

We typed as it was a LOT of cutting and pasting beacuse it was the same location or event or such. You could try the same and use sticky lables? or jsut write it if you have some time on your hands.

We set about 80-90 photos and tried to make sure they showed us with each member of the family.
