How to declare IMM5532 when sponsoring my wife who is a childhood friend

Hi all,

I know my wife since we were kids. I honestly cannot remember when we first met (must be sometime in 1993 or 1994). What should I fill up in IMM 5532 (Sponsorship Evaluation) PartC Question 1 Which asks
"When was the first time you met in person". Can i give approximate dates here ? Should I add an explanation note ? I also do not remember where I met her the first time

We were obviously not in a relationship at this time. Or should I fill up the date since we started our relationship (May 2014) ? What is the intent of this question ?

you may provide the date you first met in '94 and provide explanation note when you started relationship in '14 in the describe the circumstances of your first meeting

There's no issue with not knowing the exact date when meeting as adults, not to mention as children. No need to worry. Estimate the year and explain where they ask you for the circumstances of your first meeting.
