I have a question regarding Super Visa for Parents and Grandparents.

We are instructed to fill IMM5257-E application form for super visa but there is no place on the form where we can mention that we are applying for Super Visa and not just a regular multiple entry visa.

The 'Visa Requested" field on the form has only three options, Single, Multiple and Transit

How the visa office would know that we are applying for super visa?

Also, what is the fee for Super Visa? Is it same as a regular multiple entry visa?

Appreciate if someone can help.

Thanks
Rafay

Read the guide on government web site carefully before you complete the application form. The fee for processing your form is not refundable, so make sure your parents are eligible for a Super visa before you apply

I actually had a conversation yesterday with CIC on this very topic. They tell me that you can indicate that you are applying for the Super Visa by mentioning that in the comments section (it falls under multiple-entry category), but they will also know because of the additional documents supplied with the request, like the proof of insurance which must also accompany a super visa application.
If you need assistance obtaining insurance for your Super Visa application, please do not hesitate to contact me or check out my website.

You can say it in your INVITATION LETTER that your parent(s) is applying for Supervisa. Besides, I hope that the additional documents (especially medical insurance) will help them understand. And since Supervisa falls under Multiple-entry Visa, the fees would be same.

Page 2 in the application - Question # 1:

1a) Purpose of My visit: tourism OR Buisiness OR other

Answer: You should choose Other

1b) Other
Write : "Super Visa"

Check the guide carrefully and you will find this instruction.

Hi, Do you recall what you put into the "Type of Application" in the "Family Information" form(IMM5645)? Was it visitor or others? The CIC website's instruction don't explicitly mention that.

Hi
Can u help me for the super visa information, where to get the insurance from?
and on page no. 3 , Education and Employment section ? answer for the application information ?

pls help

thanks

Only the applicant of his/her family can answer and complete this section "Education and Employment". If you need more info, we need to know more about you.

For insurance, you always use the search function in this forum. Just type "super visa insurance" and you will find lots of results and links where to get them.

Hi,
I am trying to apply for my parents supervisa and I needed some help.
I am applying online so after filling out each form on computer, I have to press the validate button in order for the bar code to appear. But then do i need to take the print out of those forms and get them signed by my parents too?
