How to check status of application

How to check status online as i am confused
there are three options on that

Application outside canada
application with in canada
application send to novoscotia for PR category

Pls help

Hi,

Follow this link https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/?app=ecas&lang=en

Key in your Immigration File No - the number you got either with confirmation mail from CIO or the local embassy.
If you are at second stage - where you have been issued a fresh file number, use that to check your status.

www.cic.gc.ca is the website. Go to check application status. Keep going further untill u gt d page wherein u need to fillup ur details. Choose 'IMMIGRATION FILE NUMBER'....thn type in d nxt block...thn ur further details....n thn u go....

I understand your words and even i was doing same but i am confused in way as:

First page shows my mailing address, my name and say Received by Visa Office
When I click on Received by visa office then it opens page and say your file has been transferred to delhi office and are pending for review along with it on same page it has three options underas:

Application for PR Outside Canada
Application for PR in Canada
Application sent to novo scotia for federal skilled category

I have clicked on all of three seperately
ist one says in Process (Red Colour)
2nd also says in Process (Red Colour)
3rd says as it shows total process steps from Novo scotia to delhi office like as:
1.Application received by Novoscotia Red Colour
2. Eligibility Review Complete Green colour
3. Application received by visa office Green Colour
4 Visa Office eligibility review Complete Green Colour
5. In process Red Colour

Pls help me on same.

after submitting the file no, last name and Date and place of birth.. the frst page shows your mailing address, my name and says a status beside your name.. that is the present status..

Shows u different status meanings in different Category.

Like if it falls in 1st Category and your status shows u 'In Process' then u click first link and then there u will all status for that Category. U can select your current status and can read what it actually means.

Here you go.

When you submit the file to CIO and when you receive the file number, the online status will be

- CIO - Eligibility review complete - Green color in status explanation.

Then once the documents are sent to local visa office it changes to

- Received by Visa office - Green color.

If the file is selected for processing then it will change to

- In process - Red color

and if more documents are requested the it will change to

- Visa office eligibility review complete - Green color

Color states whether at that particular stage of processing, is the applicant eligible for a refund of fee or not.

Green - Yes eligible for refund of processing fee.
Red - Not eligible for refund of processing fee.
Blue - They are processing your file or a decision has been taken.

RPRF is refundable till the applicant complete the landing formalities.

As the status you have send to me I have checked the same and I found the same as

Visa Office Eligibility Review Complete Green Colour
and Also it Shows In Process ( Red Colour)

So pls help me what does it mean??

It means they checked all your forms and all papers according to the check-list. All looks OK.
Now, they will analyze and check, if needed, all supporting documents.
