How to check our status of File

Hi ,
if we are appling through an agent......how can we by ourself have a check on our Status of File ?

Sorry...one more question , if we have 2-3 years gaps in studies under SPP Canada..........Can we apply for the Visa with last 2-3 Salary slips in the firm in which we are working or we need to attach the experience certificate on the letter padd of the company as well ?
I am bit confused because someone has told us that only last 2 salary slips are enough....no need to attach experience certificate as someone has got the visa without experience certificate as well......so what you say ?

You agent have an acknowledgement number if he had applied at vfs.
So
Enter your passport no. as well as above no.
in website
www.vfs-Canada.co.in.
You will easily get to know.
Secondly gap of 1- 2 years is acceptable in spp not more than this.
So better go for generic or university.
