How to check case status for Nova Scotia

I am currently in India. I have filed my FSW PR application on 9th July 2009 through one of consultant. I haven't got any response yet.

My consultant has filed my application to Nova Scotia. Is there any way If I can check my application status ?

I tried to check with New Delhi office through online case status on cic.gc.ca website. New Delhi office says they don't any record for the same. They ask me to contact Nova Scotia office.

Please help.

DO you have an existing clinet ID with Nova scotia i.e did you ever took any visa or came to canada?. IF yes then its easy to get updates, online/via call center.

IF not then one of the ways to see if everything is fine is to see if your fee payment has been encahsed. the other option would be to ask your consultant for some update ( lets him do some work for you ) , in this case i.e without a client ID and all it wont be possible to get direct updates from NS.

I don't have any client ID. I never came to canada or got visa. I have already given Fee payment to my consultant. They prepraed a DD for CHC receiver general of canada..

I checked with my cosultant, They are saying now a days they are getting file numbers/AOR for mid june and end of june cases.. so mine should come by this month end or so...

I think it will take more than this month end , count sometime in september.

my application reached NS on July 6 and was opened last week. when did your application reach NS ? u can count 10 weeks from that day (minimum 10 weeks)

these days CIC is taking approx 45-60 days to respond to nw app. so wait till mid of sep as ur app reached them on 14 jluy. till then, relax and don't get tense.

i know its very irritating to wait and u become very impatient... But this is how it goes.Average processing time now at Sydney NS is around 50 to 65 days....From the time of opening the package and also it depends on the Visa officer who is handling the application... So have patience you would get a good news.

Yeah - I think being patient is the only option I have, since NS turn around time has increased nowadays.. I wish, you all get succeed in your process too..
